Hanna Naima Mccloskey
Founder & CEOHanna Naima Mccloskey (she/her) is of Algerian-British heritage and the Founder & CEO of Fearless Futures.She has worked for the UN, NGOs and the Royal Bank of Scotland, across communications, research and finance roles; and has lived, studied and worked in Israel-Palestine, Italy, USA, Sudan, Syria and the UK. She has a BA in English from the University of Cambridge and an MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, with a specialism in Conflict Management. Hanna is a passionate and skilled facilitator and educator, and education is the life blood of Fearless Futures.

Sara Shahvisi
DesignerSara Shahvisi (pronounced Shaah-vay-see) (she/her) is Chief Programmes Officer at Fearless Futures, leading on all Fearless Futures’ unique and innovative inclusion programming and consulting services.
Sara has brought transformative inclusion thinking and doing to organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit arenas. Sara has a decade of experience in education and alongside her BA in Politics, Anthropology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, has an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and was awarded the Loch Exhibition Award. Sara is Kurdish British and lives in London.

Sable Lomax
Chief Relationships OfficerSable Lomax (she/her) comes to Fearless Futures with over 12 years of experience in education and program development and management. Her expertise lies in curriculum development, facilitation, pedagogy, and Black studies. She has wide-ranging experience in facilitation, including workplace effectiveness and inclusion. Sable has done extensive research on the the long-term effects and overall consequences of oppression by way of criminalization of poor people of color, and the importance of Black feminism and the African aesthetic to resist various systems of oppression. She received her BA in African American Studies and French from Temple University and a MSEd in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Sable is also a community creator, focusing on building vast national networks for professional Black women.

Sam Barnsley
Director Of LearningSam Barnsley (he/him) is the Director of Learning and is based in London. Prior to joining Fearless Futures, he has gained almost a decade of educational management experience working in an inner city secondary school. As part of the launch team of the school, Sam held middle and senior leadership roles which specifically focused on curriculum design and implementation. A research-focused English teacher, Sam is always interested in finding innovative pedagogical approaches and facilitation techniques to share with the Learning Design team at Fearless Futures. He has a BA in English Language and is particularly passionate about how language is used as part of different systems of oppression.

Eleanor Green
Senior Facilitation ManagerEleanor Green (she/her) joins Fearless Futures from an education background. A qualified Secondary English teacher, Eleanor has held various pastoral leadership roles in inner-city, rural, and international school contexts and has strived for equitable outcomes for young people throughout. She has dedicated time to working with NGOs for young people, with a specific focus on child welfare and wellbeing. Her passion for community, social justice, and learning has cultivated her expertise in pedagogy, training, and learning design that leads to quality results. She has a BSc in Sociology and Business from Aston University.

Asher Firestone
Public Pedagogy ManagerAsher Firestone (they/them) is a New York-based activist and artist from Israel-Palestine. They completed their Master of Public Policy at the University of Virginia, where they co-founded the PULSE Dialogue Retreat, facilitating students in identity questions around cycles of oppression. They also conducted research for young LGBTQ adults in Latin America to receive effective online mental health resources. Asher then spent two fellowship years living in Tel Aviv, creating a podcast about civilian voices in Gaza and developing community leadership seminars. They are a dynamic facilitator and writer for Fearless Futures, who challenges individuals to engage in vulnerable anti-oppression work.

Rubie Clarke
Senior Consuling ManagerRubie Clarke (she/her) is of Jewish and Irish heritage and is based in London. Rubie leads on Fearless Futures’ consultancy and advisory, alongside delivering our programmes and training and mentoring facilitators. With a background in academia, Rubie‘s expertise lie in critical social theory and research, policy analysis and strategising for equity in organisations and institutions. She holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Goldsmiths University, London and a MA in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex, with a focus on social and economic policy, de-coloniality and intersectional feminism. Her academic research broadly crystalises around the political economy of race and colonialism in contemporary finance practices. Rubie is also an experienced anti-oppression facilitator who is skilled at leaning into nuance, complexity and discomfort with curiosity and compassion. She is passionate about supporting individuals, teams and organisations to meaningfully prioritise equity and inclusion in service ultimately of collective liberation.

Laurie Jevons
Director Of OperationsLaurie Jevons (she/her) brings a decade of public health grant work to her role as Fearless Future’s Programmes Account Manager. A former social worker, Laurie has worked with communities across Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts and Montana to promote inclusive health and wellness strategies. In 2021, Laurie was selected to represent her home state of Maine for a federal fellowship focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion in substance abuse prevention. A graduate of McGill University, Laurie holds a Master’s degree in organisational development and a Project Management Professional certification.
